Staff & Keyworkers

At Tarka tots we strive for quality in education, play, environment and parent/carer relatioships. In order for us to offer an affective, high quality and fun learning environment for your children, We ensure all of our staff complete appropriate training specific to their roles annually, in addition to their Professional qaulifications.  These include Safeguarding, First Aid, and care and curriculum specific subjects.

All of our permanent staff hold a minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years.  Our managment team and supervisors have all been with Tarka Tots for over 10 years and hold levels 4 to 7 in specific Early Years disciplines.

Managing Director: Sharon Merritt Level 7 CAPS Ed, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management with the ILM. Settings SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), and Safeguarding Lead,  ably assisted by a strong management team.
